This Lent: E is for Eyes that Embrace

I was blind, but now I see (John 9:25)

The man in this story was physically blind. He couldn’t see Jesus, see the works Jesus performed. It would have, due to the mindset of the day, been hard for him to believe that Jesus would heal him. Yet he did believe and God by healing him used the blindness to bring glory to Jesus.

I may not be phisically blind, but at times I can be spiritually blind. I don’t see God. I don’t see how He is using my shortcomings, my infirmities for His glory.

Lord Jesus, heal my blindness. Give me EYES so that I can Embrace and magnify Your glory. Amen.

All for the Glory of God,

Chris
