Y is for Yoke: Y is for Yukio and Gudrun

Y is for Yoke: How many times do we pick up the Yoke that we were never meant to bear. I know I do it frequently. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 11: 28-30 that if we come to Him instead of taking on the burden by ourselves that the load will be lighter, not removed completely but lighter because He will bear the burden with us.

Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my Yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my Yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30)

Y is for Yukio and Gudrun/Magda: Yukio is the Governor of the prison island of Hyogo. After Gudrun/Magda the Mantion princess displeases her father King Shigeo by having a deformed half human/half Mantion child he sends her to the prison island to recuperate from the ordeal that Brandan has put her through. While there she and Yukio team up to create even more havoc in the lives of Joachim and Brandan.

U is for Ubiquitous: V is for Victorious and Vulkan Mountains

Our God is a Ubiquitous God. Through His Son Jesus we are Victorious in overcoming sin and death. God covers all our sins.

U is for Ubiquitous: V is for Vulkan Mountains: Asha is a Ubiquitous god also. He watches out for all the beings of Ramajadin. V is for Vulkan Mountains. The Cave of Kobata is located in the Vulkan Mountains in the Mantion country, Grilwood. Both Joachim and Brandan travel to this cave to meet with Sidramah and each has a very different outcome. The cave is the seat of evil.

Q is for Quiet; R is for Rejoice and Resurrection; R is for Rupert and Croifan and Salochin

Q and R are for Quiet time Rejoicing in the Resurrection of our Beloved Jesus Christ.

R is for Rupert and Croifan and Salochin: Master Adept Rupert and Master Adept Croifan, both Kningrad, both magical beings that are allied and with the royal family of Crato. Rupert is First Advisor to King Theodric and later to King Joachim. Croifan is the twins magic teacher. Although both could have been powerful adepts and warriors in their own country of Imherp they chose to work with Crato in spreading and protecting the word of Asha. Salochin is half-brother to Theodric and Waldrom, uncle to Brandan and Joachim. Theodric and Waldrom are not aware of his existence, but he along with some dragons and the help of Asha, tries to guide them on Asha’s path.

M is for Mercy: M is for Mahorg and Crato and Melvane

M is for Mercy: May God in His great wisdom grant His eternal Mercy to me.

M is for Mahorg and Crato and Melvane: Mahorg and Crato are the two neighboring countries in Palace of the Twelve Pillars. King Theodric and his family rule in Crato and King Waldrom rules in Mahorg. The two countries were at peace with each other until King Waldrom came into power. He along with the evil wizard Melvane and the power of Sidramah( the Evil One) strive to take over Crato and rule the land with little regard for the people of either country.

I is for Inspiration and Imherp and Grilwood: J is for Joy and Joachim

I should have posted I yesterday and although I knew my book fact I lacked Inspiration for the devotional piece. So today I will do a double post to make up for it.

I is for Inspiration. I get my Inspiration from God. When I travel with Him, when I live in His word then the glory of Him is revealed to me. J is for the Joy I feel  when I am right with God.

I is for Imherp and Grilwood. These are two small countries, Grilwood is located in the northeastern corner of Mahorg. It is home to the Mantion and servant to Sidramah. Imherp is in the northeastern corner of Crato. It is home to the Kningrad and servants of Asha. The dragons make their home in Imherp. The Sanctuary of Nine Dragons is also located in Imherp.

J is for Joachim. Joachim is Brandan’s older twin brother and son to Queen Lilia and King Theodric. He will be kidnapped by the evil King Waldrom and have to chose between following Waldrom’s evil or sticking to his faith in Asha.
