My rating: 4 of 5 stars

In Avalon Lost Mary Rose Kreger has captured an exciting adventure from Scotland to Avalon. Phili’s adventure begins with a failed journey to the hidden world of Avalon and to find her father and the life she was forced to leave behind as a child. When she moves to Scotland to live with her uncle because of her mother cannot care for her with her extensive injuries from their failed journey, out protagonist learns so much more of her past and her legacy. She learns of betrayal and love and loyalty as she tries to find a way back to her home. Ms. Kreger does an excellent job of revealing the mysteries surrounding out protagonist’s journey. With the introduction of characters from both worlds her desire to return is intensified as she discovers her own strengths.
This is a great book for young adults and even people like me an adult. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is interested in King Arthur and wonders what happened after Arthur left the world.
